This fits a broader trend of hyperscalers and chipmakers racing to lower AI inference costs, which matters for crypto because AI-adjacent tokens (TAO, FET, RNDR, AKT) trade on the narrative that decentralized compute is essential. Cheap, high-memory GPUs from Intel erode part of that scarcity premium.

Intel unveiled its GPU D-series for data centers, featuring up to 480GB of LPDDR5X memory to support demanding inference workloads.
