Laplace Intelligence's simulation-based validation of autonomous systems fits into the broader AI infrastructure buildout, which is increasingly intersecting with crypto through DePIN, AI agent tokens, and decentralized compute. However, this specific startup is private and not tokenized, so its relevance is thematic rather than direct.

Laplace Intelligence, a University of Michigan spinout, uses AI agents and interactive simulation to stress-test robots and self-driving vehicles before deployment, and is competing in Startup Battlefield at TechCrunch Disrupt.

Profitable robotics-simulation startups like Laplace are quietly building the training-data pipelines that could become the de-facto 'proof-of-physical-safety' layer for tokenized real-world assets — a narrative that will hit crypto only after the robotics hype cycle matures.
