Bitcoin

This is the 'agentic web' moment analogous to the mobile shift in 2008-2010: platforms that adapt capture the next distribution layer, those that block cede share. It directly feeds the AI-crypto narrative — decentralized agent identity, payments, and verification (e.g., x402-style agent payments, ERC-8004-style trust registries) become investable if centralized platforms fragment. Meanwhile, high BTC dominance (63 F&G, $2.81T cap) means capital is selective; AI-agent tokens are a thematic rotation candidate, not a broad alt rally.

The rise of personal AI agents is creating a third category of web visitor, prompting some websites to block them while others like Shopify adapt, raising concerns about the future of the internet for human users.
