Bitcoin

This event highlights the growing correlation between traditional equities and crypto, as both are sensitive to macroeconomic forces. Rising yields increase the opportunity cost of holding non-yielding assets like Bitcoin, while elevated oil prices stoke inflation fears, potentially forcing central banks to maintain hawkish policies. This comes as BTC dominance is high, indicating a flight to quality within crypto, but overall market cap is down 2.73% in 24h, suggesting broad weakness.

A broadening rally in stocks was derailed by elevated oil prices and surging bond yields.
