Cisco Adds Supermicro NVIDIA Systems to Secure AI Factory

Cisco is teaming up with Supermicro to bring NVIDIA-based AI compute systems into its Secure AI Factory stack. The integrated systems will be pre-validated and available through Cisco's existing AI Factory offering, the two companies said.

Pre-validated hardware inside the stack

The move means customers can now get Supermicro's NVIDIA-powered servers as a standard, pre-tested component of Cisco's Secure AI Factory. Instead of piecing together hardware and software on their own, buyers get a configuration that's already checked to work with Cisco's security and networking layers.

Pre-validation cuts down on the guesswork that usually comes with building AI infrastructure. It also narrows the number of variables IT teams have to troubleshoot when they're standing up new systems. For Cisco, it's a way to make the Secure AI Factory a one-stop shop — compute included.

Why the partnership matters
