Manus has released a new connector for Google Drive that automates workflows across Docs, Sheets, and Slides, effectively turning the cloud storage service into an active workspace tool. The connector, now available, allows users to trigger actions and move data between the three applications without manual intervention.
What the connector does
The Manus Google Drive Connector integrates directly with Drive's native apps. It can, for example, pull data from a Sheet, populate a Doc template, and then generate a Slide presentation from the results — all in a single automated sequence. The company says the tool eliminates repetitive copy-paste tasks that have long slowed down collaborative work.
Use cases for teams
Teams working on reports, proposals, or dashboards are likely to benefit most. A marketing team could automatically update a weekly status Doc with real-time metrics from a Sheet, then push a summary to a Slide deck for a Monday meeting. The connector handles the formatting and syncing so that users don't have to check for outdated numbers.
Project managers might use it to keep task lists in Sheets synchronized with a project timeline in Docs. Educational institutions running collaborative syllabi could rely on the connector to update all linked documents whenever a change is made in the source file.
For years, Google Drive has been a static file cabinet for most users. Manus' connector adds a layer of automation that treats Drive as a live environment. Instead of opening each app separately and manually transferring information, users set up a workflow once and let the connector run it on a schedule or trigger.
