Binance to Pause TRX Deposits, Delist 7 Spot Pairs This Week

Binance is rolling out a series of network maintenance events and trading pair delistings this week. The exchange will pause Tron (TRX) deposits and withdrawals for about an hour on July 23 for wallet maintenance, and it plans to support the Zcash hard fork around July 28. Separately, seven spot trading pairs and several margin pairs are being removed on July 24.

Tron wallet maintenance

On July 23, Binance will temporarily suspend TRX deposits and withdrawals for roughly one hour. The exchange says the pause is for wallet maintenance on the Tron Network. Users should expect the service to resume once the maintenance is complete — no further delays have been flagged.

Zcash hard fork support

Binance will support the upcoming Zcash hard fork at block height 3,428,143, expected around 13:00 UTC on July 28. ZEC deposits and withdrawals will be suspended during the fork. The exchange will handle all technical requirements, so users don't need to do anything. The hard fork is part of Zcash's ongoing network upgrades.

Delistings on July 24

Binance is removing seven spot trading pairs on July 24: ACX/USDC, ALGO/BTC, CVC/USDC, LPT/USDC, ONG/BTC, RVN/USDC, and XRP/BNB. Margin trading pairs are also being cut — cross margin pairs CYBER/USDC, DOLO/USDC, PIXEL/USDC, STEEM/USDC, and isolated margin pairs DOLO/USDC, PIXEL/USDC, STEEM/USDC.

The exchange regularly reviews listed assets based on team commitment, development activity, trading volume, liquidity, and network stability. Low volume or weak liquidity often triggers removal.

No price shock — yet

So far, the delistings haven't caused a negative price impact for the involved cryptocurrencies. That's a contrast to previous rounds: when Binance removed Alchemix (ALCX), Ardor (ARDR), NFPrompt Token (NFP), and Marlin (POND), those tokens saw double-digit price collapses. It's not clear why the market is shrugging off these cuts, but the affected pairs are relatively small.

The next concrete event is the Zcash hard fork on July 28. Binance will update users once the network is stable and deposits and withdrawals resume.
