Bitget Extends UNICEF Game Changers Partnership with Financial Literacy, AI Focus

Bitget, the cryptocurrency exchange that calls itself the world's largest Universal Exchange, said on May 21 it would start a second year of working with UNICEF's Game Changers Coalition. The new phase brings financial literacy and artificial intelligence education into the mix.

Reaching 642,000 across eight countries

Since the coalition launched, it has reached more than 642,000 young people, parents, and teachers in eight countries. That number covers a range of programs aimed at giving kids digital skills and a voice in tech development. Bitget didn't specify which countries are involved, but the coalition operates globally through UNICEF's national committees.

Why financial literacy and AI now

The expanded focus comes as cryptocurrencies and AI tools become more common in everyday life. Bitget's partnership with UNICEF originally focused on blockchain education and youth empowerment. Adding financial literacy means teaching young people how to manage money in a digital economy. The AI education piece aims to help them understand how algorithms work and how to use them responsibly.

Bitget didn't release a dollar figure for its contribution or say how many more people it expects to reach in year two. The company said the partnership is part of a broader push to support UNICEF's mission of giving every child a fair chance in the digital world.

What the coalition does

UNICEF's Game Changers Coalition is designed to put young people at the center of tech innovation. It runs workshops, online courses, and local events that teach coding, problem-solving, and digital citizenship. The coalition also gives kids a platform to share their ideas with policymakers and tech companies. Bitget's involvement has helped fund some of those activities and helped UNICEF reach communities that might not otherwise have access.

Bitget first joined the coalition in 2025. The renewal suggests the company sees value in the relationship, even as the broader crypto industry faces regulatory scrutiny in multiple jurisdictions.

The partnership is set to run through May 2027. Neither Bitget nor UNICEF has said whether they plan to add more focus areas after that.
