Cronos, Arbitrum and Starknet will release a combined $104.67 million worth of tokens between October 15 and October 17, part of a broader $845.8 million unlock week across the crypto market. The three projects account for roughly 12% of that total, with Cronos carrying the largest single tranche at $70.85 million.
The figures come from token unlock tracker Tokenomist, which has marked all three events as pending verification — meaning the numbers are projections, not confirmed supply changes.
What's unlocking, and where the tokens go
Cronos is first on the clock. On October 17, the Layer-1 blockchain developed alongside Crypto.com will unlock 1.17 billion CRO, valued at $70.85 million. That's 2.33% of the released supply, which sits at 49.97 billion CRO. The entire release goes to the Cronos Strategic Reserve — no team or investor allocation this time. CRO is the native token used for transaction fees and staking on the EVM-compatible Cronos chain and its Cosmos SDK-based counterpart.
Arbitrum follows on October 16 with 92.65 million ARB tokens worth $18.40 million. That's 1.56% of the 5.95 billion ARB released supply. The split is lopsided: 56.13 million ARB goes to the team, future team and advisors, while 36.52 million ARB goes to investors. Arbitrum is an Ethereum Layer-2 that uses optimistic rollups to process transactions off-chain and submit them to Ethereum mainnet for validation.
Starknet unlocks 127 million STRK on October 15 — the smallest of the three by value at $15.42 million, but the largest by share of released supply. The tokens represent 3.37% of the 3.77 billion STRK in circulation. Early contributors receive 66.61 million STRK and investors get 60.39 million STRK. Starknet is an Ethereum Layer-2 built with STARK-based zero-knowledge rollups, and STRK is its native utility and governance token.
The rest of the week's supply
Connex, Cheelee and Aerodrome Finance will also see new token supply enter the market during the same week, according to Tokenomist. The tracker did not provide equivalent breakdowns for those three in the data reviewed.
The total for the week — $845.8 million — puts the three flagged projects in context. Cronos, Arbitrum and Starknet together represent a fraction of the overall unlock volume, but they're the ones with pending verification tags, which means the final numbers could shift before the tokens actually move.
Why the verification flag matters
Tokenomist's pending verification status is not unusual for token unlock schedules, particularly for projects with complex vesting contracts or reserve allocations. It means the unlock is expected but not yet confirmed on-chain or by the project. For Cronos, the entire release going to the Strategic Reserve is straightforward enough. For Arbitrum and Starknet, the team-and-investor splits are the kind of allocations that sometimes get adjusted or delayed at the last minute.
Traders watching supply events typically focus on the ratio of unlock size to daily trading volume rather than the dollar figure alone. The data reviewed here doesn't include volume comparisons, so the actual market impact is an open question until the tokens hit circulation.
What to watch
Starknet's unlock lands first on October 15, followed by Arbitrum on October 16 and Cronos on October 17. The pending verification tags on all three mean the exact figures could be revised before those dates. Tokenomist is expected to update the status as the unlock dates approach.
