But other metrics tell a more cautious story.

The TD Sequential is a technical tool used to identify price exhaustion and potential trend reversals. Martinez noted that the repeated buy signals on Dogecoin’s chart are unusual and could indicate that the downtrend is losing steam. However, the indicator alone does not guarantee a reversal — it simply flags that the market may be ready for one.
MVRV Ratio Points to Losses
The Market Value to Realized Value (MVRV) ratio for DOGE has dropped below 1. That means the average holder is sitting on a paper loss, with the asset trading below its aggregate cost basis. Historically, such levels have sometimes preceded bottoms, but they can also persist during prolonged bear markets.
Analyst Price Predictions
Despite the current slump, some analysts see a bright future. Javon Marks has predicted DOGE could rally to $0.653, $0.7, and even $1.25 in the coming years. Trader Tardigrade, meanwhile, sees a double bottom formation that could trigger a price explosion as high as $3.25. These forecasts are long-term and depend on broader market conditions.

On the shorter time frame, Dogecoin’s Relative Strength Index (RSI) has risen above 70, putting it in overbought territory. That suggests a correction could be near. At the same time, spot Dogecoin ETFs have attracted only $11.77 million in cumulative net inflows — a sign of weak institutional interest. The lack of big-money support is often cited as a bearish factor for the asset’s valuation.
For now, Dogecoin sits at a crossroads. The TD Sequential and MVRV data hint at a possible bottom, but the overbought RSI and tepid ETF demand keep the outlook uncertain. Whether the bulls or bears win out may depend on a catalyst that has yet to appear.
