Ethereum Flat at $1,890, XRP and HYPE Slide as Altcoins Show Mixed Week

Ethereum went nowhere this week, XRP and Hyperliquid took a hit, and a couple of smaller altcoins managed small gains. The overall picture remains choppy — buyers aren't stepping in with conviction, and sellers are defending key levels.

Ethereum stalls at $2,000

Ethereum's price barely budged week-over-week. Sellers stopped the rally right at the $2,000 resistance and pushed it back into a pullback. As of Sunday, ETH is trading around $1,890. The next support to watch is $1,800 — a retest looks likely if buying pressure doesn't pick up. The macro trend is still down: lower lows and lower highs are intact. To reverse that, buyers need to turn $2,000 into support. They haven't come close yet.

XRP's bearish pennant

XRP fell 3% this week and is clinging just above the $1 support level. A bearish pennant has formed on the chart, and volume keeps dropping — a classic setup for a breakdown. If XRP loses $1, the next target is $0.80, which would be a new low for the move. The pattern doesn't look good for bulls.

ADA and BNB buck the trend

Cardano closed the week with a 2% gain. Support at $0.15 held, and ADA now has a decent shot at moving toward $0.20. But the push higher came on low volume, which signals buyer wariness. To turn truly bullish, ADA needs to reclaim resistance at $0.23. Binance Coin did a bit better, up 4% after buyers pushed it above the $580 support. BNB could aim for $690 next. The uptrend is still early, and a drop back below $580 would be a short-term deviation — not a trend reversal yet.

Hyperliquid loses its mojo

Hyperliquid was the week's worst performer among the majors, losing 7%. The uptrend is gone. The $60 level, which used to be support, has flipped into resistance. HYPE is now testing the next support at $52. If that breaks, $45 is the next key level — and that would signal a major correction. The price topped around $76 and has been declining ever since. Its best days may be behind it for now.

What comes next? Ethereum could retest $1,800 in the coming days. XRP's pennant resolution will likely decide whether it holds $1 or slides to $0.80. HYPE's $52 support is the line in the sand — lose it, and the selloff accelerates.
