The move came as trading activity picked up across the token's major pairs, though network data shows the rally is running against a persistent supply headwind: token burning still trails historical issuance.

The supply math

The project's own initiatives could shift that balance. Caffeine AI and Mission 70 are both positioned as potential demand drivers — if they bring more activity onto the network, they'd also increase the amount of ICP burned through usage.
Neither has moved the needle on the burn rate yet, at least based on the latest network figures. But they're the clearest catalysts on the horizon for closing the gap between what the network destroys and what it creates.
