LBank kicked off a new futures competition this week called the 'Pizza Day Trading Bash,' inspired by Bitcoin Pizza Day. The contest offers a prize pool of up to 80,000 USDT, but the final amount depends on total trading volume across the platform. Registration opened May 15 and runs through May 31, 2026 (SGT).
Dynamic prize pool structure
The prize pool doesn't start at the full 80,000 USDT. It begins at 10,000 USDT and scales up. If total futures volume hits between 1.5 billion and 3 billion USDT, the pool expands to 20,000 USDT. Cross the 3 billion mark and the full 80,000 USDT unlocks. That's a big jump — 4x from the middle tier.
Rewards go to the top 50 participants. First place takes 17% of the pool, second gets 11%, third gets 8%. Smaller shares go down the list, but there's a catch: each user must hit a minimum futures trading volume specific to their ranking tier to actually collect. No free rides on low volume.
Registration and ranking rules
The competition uses an 'Overall Ranking' system based purely on total futures trading volume. Higher volume means a higher rank. No multipliers, no special conditions — just trade as much as you can during the registration period. Users have until May 31 at 23:59 SGT to sign up and start trading.
LBank didn't specify a separate contest end date from the registration deadline, so the trading window likely closes when registration ends. That gives participants about two and a half weeks to compete.
Other campaigns this month
The Pizza Day contest isn't the only one LBank is running. The exchange also launched a 'Storage & Semiconductors Futures Trading Contest' alongside joint campaigns with Nobody Sausage, TBC, and SHIB. It's a busy month for promotions.
