Pi Network Distributes Second Testnet Token Slice as Pi Price Hits New Low

Pi Network has completed the distribution of its second testnet token, Slice, through the Pi Launchpad, the project announced this week. The milestone arrives as the network's native Pi token struggles with price volatility, recently touching a fresh all-time low of $0.07 after losing the $0.10 support level.

Second testnet token distributed

The first testnet token distribution kicked off on PiDay 2026 — March 14 — and drew nearly 480,000 participants. The second token, Slice, launched in June with a testing window from June 12 to June 28, timed to Pi2Day. The team said the distribution was successful and encouraged users to explore the post-launch experience and liquidity pools.

Through the Launchpad app inside the Pi Browser, users can view their individual allocation details, see both the launch price and the effective token price, access the SLICE liquidity pool, and check a price chart.

Pi price slides to new low

Pi's market price has been under pressure. After losing the $0.10 support, the token dropped to a new all-time low of $0.07. Last Sunday, it briefly jumped 20%, challenging the $0.10 resistance but failing to hold. The rejection was followed by a drop of more than 10%, bringing Pi to $0.082.

Wallet anomalies surface

Separately, users have reported strange activity in their Pi Wallets. Complaints include missing tokens and a high volume of failed transactions to unknown addresses. The Pi Network team has not yet issued a public statement addressing these reports.

With the testnet token distribution now complete and price action volatile, the community is waiting to see whether the team will respond to the wallet irregularities or provide further guidance on the network's next steps.
