Pi Network Token Migrations Surge 12 Million in Two Days as PI Price Stalls Near $0.15

Pi Network's PI token is down 12% over the past week, but the last 24 hours have been a mixed bag. The price inched up 2% to $0.1507, yet two opposing forces are at play: a surge in testnet-to-mainnet migrations dumping fresh supply, and a notable outflow from centralized exchanges that some read as buying pressure. The short-term recovery may not hold, with selling still outweighing demand.

Token Migrations Jump to 12 Million in Two Days

On Monday, 7.65 million PI tokens moved from testnet to mainnet. Tuesday added another 4.36 million, bringing the two-day total to over 12 million. That's a lot of new supply hitting the market in a short span, and it's weighing on price action. The migration process effectively unlocks tokens that weren't previously tradable, which tends to create a headwind for any rally.

Exchange Outflows Signal Possible Accumulation

At the same time, 2.55 million PI tokens left centralized exchanges over the same 24-hour period. That's a net outflow, hinting that some holders are moving tokens to self-custody — or perhaps preparing to buy. It's not enough to fully offset the migration supply, but it's a data point that keeps the bull case alive for now. The question is whether that demand can absorb the newly minted tokens.

Technical Indicators Point to Frayed Support

The Relative Strength Index sits near 34, just above oversold territory. The MACD line on the four-hour chart is slightly negative below zero — not a screaming sell signal, but not a buy one either. Key support lies at $0.1440 and then $0.1345 if PI drops below the current $0.1500 level. On the upside, resistance stands at $0.1605 and the 100-period exponential moving average near $0.1684. A break above that with volume could change the narrative, but the facts say selling pressure still dominates.

The next few days will test whether the exchange outflows can keep pace with the migration supply. If PI loses $0.1440, a retest of $0.1345 looks likely. If it holds and pushes past $0.1605, the sentiment might shift — but the data today leans cautious.
