RISEx Launches 'Ignite' Loyalty Program After $3B Beta Trading Volume

RISEx, the decentralized exchange built on its own Layer 2 network, has officially kicked off 'Ignite' Season 1 — a loyalty and ecosystem points program. The launch follows a closed beta that generated more than $3 billion in cumulative trading volume. Starting July 28, 2026, the program will distribute 200,000 RISE points each week and is expected to run no later than Q2 2027.

The Beta That Paved the Way

During the invite-only beta phase, RISEx racked up some notable numbers: over $26 million in open interest, more than $15 million in total value locked, and 15,000 registered users. The platform is built on RISE Chain, an EVM-compatible Layer 2 network that claims 5 Ggas/s throughput and 1-millisecond latency. Backing comes from Galaxy Ventures and Vitalik Buterin.

How the Points Program Works

Ignite Season 1 allocates 100% of RISE points to RISEx users — traders, liquidity providers, and builder code integrators all qualify. The earning system is multi-layered, based on total costs, trading volume, open interest, and hold time. The exact weightings for each factor haven't been disclosed; the team says that's to prevent gaming. Points are distributed weekly, and the program is designed to reward ongoing participation rather than one-off activity.

Why the Launch Was Delayed

CEO Sam Battenally said the team held off on launching Ignite until the exchange engine reached what he called absolute stability. The approach, he explained, was product-first, incentives-second. That meant no points program until the core trading experience was solid. The beta period gave them time to stress-test the engine and iron out kinks before rolling out the rewards layer.

What RISEx Offers Beyond Points

RISEx supports cross-asset netted-margining, which lets users offset positions across different assets, and native trading of real-world assets. There's also an affiliate program that gives qualified users fee rebates and point boosts. The combination of a high-performance Layer 2, institutional backing, and now a points program puts RISEx in a crowded but fast-moving corner of crypto.

The Ignite program is live now. The team says it will adjust parameters based on community feedback as Season 1 progresses.
