TRON Daily New Accounts Jump 42.87% to One-Month High of 230,862

TRON's daily new accounts hit 230,862 on July 29, a 42.87% spike from recent levels and the highest in a month, according to on-chain tracker Lookonchain. TRON founder Justin Sun shared the data the same day, saying more users are choosing the network every day. The jump comes after daily new accounts had mostly ranged between 150,000 and 200,000 through July.

What's behind the account spike

Analysts point to rising stablecoin demand on TRON, especially USDT. The circulating supply of USDT on the network has surpassed $90 billion this year. That's a lot of liquidity flowing through TRON's pipes, and it's pulling in new users who need cheap, fast transfers. TRON DAO says the network now has over 395 million total accounts and has processed more than 14 billion transactions as of July.

Tron Inc. keeps buying

Tron Inc., the Nasdaq-listed treasury firm, has been adding to its TRX stash. It now holds over 707 million tokens, with its trades visible on-chain. That's a vote of confidence from a corporate holder, though the timing — right as retail activity picks up — is worth watching.

Quantum-resistant upgrade in the works

TRON plans to roll out a quantum-resistant upgrade later this year. The network already tested the tech on the Nile testnet, and it passed. That's a forward-looking move, but for now the immediate story is the user growth.

TRX traded near $0.33 on July 29, up about 0.3% over 24 hours, per BeInCrypto. A price forecast suggests further tests of resistance near $0.365 before any bigger move. Whether the account surge marks a lasting shift remains unclear — Tronscan's weekly figures may offer a clearer answer.
