XRP ETFs Pull In $11.31M as Rival Crypto Funds Bleed $681M

U.S. spot XRP ETFs took in $11.31 million in net inflows between October 5 and October 9, 2025, the only fund group among bitcoin, ether, solana and XRP products to finish the week positive. U.S. bitcoin funds lost $681 million over the same stretch. The winning number looks a lot smaller up close: Bitwise supplied $10.55 million of the total, and three of the week's five trading sessions recorded no net flow at all.

Bitwise carries the week

Strip out Bitwise and the rest of the XRP fund complex added roughly $760,000 between them. Franklin Templeton's XRPZ chipped in $4.10 million, while Canary Capital's XRPC went the other way with a $3.34 million outflow. That's not a wave of institutional demand. It's one issuer's distribution doing the work while its competitors mostly sit still.

Price keeps sliding

XRP fell from about $1.52 to $1.40 over the week, closing down 7.3% close-to-close. It touched a $1.32 low on October 8. The support zone sits at $1.32 to $1.38 — the same patch where buyers showed up during the dip. The primary resistance band is $1.50 to $1.56, and a sustained reclaim of that range would signal short-term trend improvement. Until then, the ETF inflows aren't translating into price strength.

The $230 million gap

XRP ETF net assets sit at roughly $1.57 billion against about $1.8 billion in cumulative inflows since launch. That's a gap of some $230 million, which is a polite way of saying the funds have been leaking value even as new money comes through the door. Price declines on held assets explain most of it. It's a reminder that inflows and performance aren't the same thing, and the headline ETF number flatters a tougher reality underneath.

XRPN hits the tape

Evernorth's XRPN vehicle began trading on Nasdaq on Monday, October 12, 2025. The fund holds about 473 million XRP. Its immediate effect on spot demand or the XRP price isn't established — there's no evidence yet that the listing pulled fresh buyers into the underlying token, and the first few sessions will be the ones worth watching. A new Nasdaq-listed wrapper is a structural addition, not a demand event by itself.

What to watch: whether XRPN's early trading volumes produce any measurable spot bid, and whether XRP can hold the $1.32-$1.38 support zone if bitcoin funds keep bleeding. Another week of bitcoin outflows without a corresponding pickup in the broader altcoin complex would leave the XRP ETFs as the only green line on a red page — and that's a lonely place to be.
