XRP ETFs Snap Nine-Week Inflow Streak, Rebound with $6.78M

XRP exchange-traded funds ended a nine-week run of net inflows in early July, then staged a quick rebound. After posting their first weekly outflow in more than two months, the funds pulled in $6.78 million the following week — almost exactly reversing the prior week's losses.

A sudden reversal in flows

During the second week of July, XRP ETFs saw $7.04 million leave the funds. That snapped a nine-week streak that had attracted nearly $200 million. The outflow came as a surprise to some market watchers, given the sustained accumulation through the spring.

The very next week — ending around July 20 — the trend flipped again. Net inflows hit $6.78 million, nearly offsetting the prior week's red ink. But the recovery was concentrated: all of that money came in on a single day, July 16. On the other four trading days, there were zero reportable net flows.

In fact, seven of the last ten business days have recorded no net movement at all. The pattern suggests that investor interest is patchy, even as the overall numbers look healthy.

Cumulative inflows hit a new high

Despite the mid-July hiccup, cumulative net inflows for XRP ETFs have climbed back to an all-time high of roughly $1.5 billion. That figure includes the $6.78 million rebound week. The long-term trend still points north, but the short-term data shows a market that may be losing momentum.

Who's leading the XRP ETF race

Among issuers, Bitwise's XRP ETF has emerged as the largest. It now holds nearly $500 million in assets under management. That puts it ahead of Canary Capital's XRPC fund, which has below $470 million. The gap is narrow — around $30 million — but Bitwise has been steadily widening it in recent weeks.

Price weakness and summer lull

XRP's price hasn't helped the ETF story. The token has failed to break above the $1.10 resistance level. Over the past month, it's down about 3%, with a market cap hovering under $70 billion.

Industry observers point to two likely factors behind the declining interest: the slow summer season, when many traders step back, and XRP's sluggish price action. If the token can't mount a rally, the ETF inflows may stay sporadic.

Whether the rebound can hold through the rest of the summer — or whether another outflow week is around the corner — remains an open question.
