Spot XRP exchange-traded funds have crossed a new threshold, with cumulative total net inflows reaching nearly $1.5 billion. But the milestone comes as investor interest appears to be waning, with 10 of the last 15 trading days recording zero net flows.
Record cumulative inflows
The $1.5 billion figure is an all-time high for XRP ETFs. Before the recent two-week period, the funds had enjoyed a nine-week streak of attracting over $150 million each week. That momentum has stalled. In the most recent week, XRP ETFs saw $2.49 million in inflows on Monday and $5.66 million on Tuesday, then zero net flows for the remaining three trading days.
XRP's price followed a similar trajectory. The token rose from under $1.09 to a multi-day peak of $1.16 at the start of the week, but later fell back below $1.10. The price movement was modest, reflecting the lack of fresh buying pressure.
HYPE ETFs see outflows
Spot HYPE ETFs are also experiencing a downturn. Over the past five trading days, net outflows totaled $8.6 million, following $7.26 million in outflows the previous week. Cumulative total net inflows for HYPE ETFs have dropped from an all-time high of $308.60 million to $292.73 million.
That's a sharp reversal from earlier this year, when HYPE ETFs had a record week with over $110 million in inflows. The two-week outflow streak has erased some of those gains, though the cumulative total remains above $290 million. The outflows represent a shift in sentiment after a period of strong demand.
What the data shows
The numbers suggest that the initial wave of enthusiasm for crypto ETFs may be cooling. For XRP, the nine-week inflow streak was impressive, but the recent pattern of zero-flow days indicates that buyers are stepping back. For HYPE, the outflows are more pronounced, though the category still holds significant assets.
The next weekly data release will show whether the trend continues or reverses. No fund issuers have commented on the recent flow patterns.
