NVIDIA GeForce NOW Adds Automatic Library Syncing, New Games, Summer Sale

NVIDIA's cloud gaming service GeForce NOW is rolling out a trio of updates designed to make the platform easier to use and cheaper to join. The company has introduced automatic game library syncing, added a handful of new titles, and launched a summer sale with steep discounts on annual memberships.

Automatic Library Syncing

The most notable change is seamless syncing of users' game libraries. Instead of manually linking accounts or importing games one by one, the service now automatically detects and syncs the titles a subscriber owns across supported storefronts. The process runs in the background, so when a new purchase lands in a user's library, it shows up in GeForce NOW without extra steps. NVIDIA says the feature is live now for all members.

New Titles on the Service

Alongside the syncing update, GeForce NOW added several new games to its catalog. The exact list wasn't detailed in the announcement, but the additions cover a mix of recent releases and older favorites. Subscribers can start streaming them immediately on any supported device — PC, Mac, Shield TV, or mobile.

Summer Sale Discounts

The summer sale is targeting annual memberships. New and existing members can grab a yearly plan at a significant discount — the company described the markdowns as steep but didn't specify exact percentages or dollar amounts. The sale is available now and runs for a limited time. For users who've been on the fence about committing to a full year, the price cut might make the decision easier.

The syncing feature alone could save frequent players a few minutes each time they buy a new game. And with the sale in play, the cost of a year of cloud gaming is lower than usual. NVIDIA hasn't said how long the promotion will last or whether more titles will be added before it ends.
