Sleepagotchi, the Telegram-based sleep tracking app with 2 million users, has launched the MVP of its AI Sleep Coach — the first product in a planned AI wellness ecosystem. The company also announced a leadership change, with Kenny Wood taking over as CEO and founding CEO Anton Kraminkin moving to a strategic advisory role.
New CEO and growth partners
Kenny Wood steps into the chief executive role as Sleepagotchi shifts from its Lite version toward a full AI-driven wellness platform. Kraminkin will advise on strategy. The company also added Shalini Wood and Aditya Julka, both existing investors, as growth partners to help scale the product.
Beta revenue and user engagement
During a three-week beta test of the AI Sleep Coach, Sleepagotchi generated over $100,000 in revenue. Early usage data shows that 78% of users open the app within 10 minutes of waking — a sign of strong morning engagement. The app previously operated as a Lite version on Telegram, amassing 2 million all-time users.
Device integrations across platforms
The AI Sleep Coach works with live integrations from Whoop, Oura, and Apple Watch, pulling biometric data to personalize coaching. Users can sync sleep metrics from their wearable devices directly into the app, allowing the AI to tailor recommendations based on real-time data.
Future agents and token utility
Sleepagotchi plans to expand beyond sleep into wellness coaching, meal planning, and shopping, each powered by a dedicated AI agent. The native $SLEEP token will serve as the ecosystem's currency: used for AI credits, subscription benefits, staked user levels, gamified rewards, marketplace access, partner campaigns, and eventual permissioned data use cases. The company has raised $6.5 million across funding rounds from investors including Sfermion, Inception, 6th Man Ventures, Collab+Currency, 1kx, Alliance, GSR, and Everyrealm. With a new CEO, growth partners, and a working MVP, Sleepagotchi is now focused on rolling out additional AI agents and expanding its token-based wellness economy.
