Pump.fun Rimerr Epërsinë e Tarifave të Launchpad pas Rënies së Korrikut

Pump.fun's share of launchpad fees fell to 27% in July, but four weeks later it's back above 50%. The rebound comes after a wave of competing launchpads on Robinhood Chain grabbed a chunk of its business in the first two weeks of July.

The July Slump

For a few weeks, it looked like pump.fun's grip on the launchpad market was slipping. Its fee share dropped to just over a quarter of the industry total, a steep fall from where it had been. The cause was a sudden influx of rival launchpads on Robinhood Chain, which collectively took most of pump.fun's share during that early July stretch.

Those competitors didn't just nibble at the edges. They pulled in a significant portion of the fees that had been flowing to pump.fun, and the numbers showed it. By mid-July, pump.fun's slice of the pie had shrunk to 27%.

The Rebound

But the dip didn't last. Four weeks after that low point, pump.fun's share is back above 50%. That's a faster recovery than many might have expected, and it comes with a twist: pump.fun is now earning more per week than it did before the competing launchpads even arrived.

How? The launchpad business itself grew faster than pump.fun lost ground. Even as its share dipped, the overall volume of fees across the industry was expanding. So when pump.fun clawed back its share, it did so on top of a larger base.

A Growing Pie

Weekly fees across the launchpad industry increased overall during this period. That means the new Robinhood Chain launchpads didn't just steal existing business — they helped grow the market. The pie got bigger, and pump.fun's slice, while smaller in percentage terms for a while, is now both proportionally dominant and absolutely larger than before.

The numbers tell a simple story: competition arrived, pump.fun stumbled, then it recovered. The industry's growth meant there was room for both the challengers and the incumbent to win.

Whether the new Robinhood Chain launchpads can hold their ground as pump.fun's fee share stabilizes remains an open question. But for now, pump.fun is back on top, earning more than it ever did.
