AGIBOT's SHAREBOT Subsidiary Sees 5,500+ Humanoid Robot Rental Orders in Three Months

AGIBOT's SHAREBOT Subsidiary Sees 5,500+ Humanoid Robot Rental Orders in Three Months

AGIBOT's new rental arm, SHAREBOT, has racked up more than 5,500 orders for humanoid robots since launching in December 2025. The subsidiary offers daily rentals starting at around 3,500 yuan ($517), a price that includes shipping and a human operator to run the machine.

How the rental model works

SHAREBOT's business is straightforward: companies or event organizers can rent a humanoid robot for a day, get it delivered, and have an operator on site to handle the controls. The 3,500-yuan daily rate covers both the hardware and the person running it. That's a steep price for a single day, but it's still cheaper than buying a robot outright — and it lets customers test the tech before committing to a purchase.

The 5,500-plus orders in just three months suggest there's real demand. AGIBOT hasn't disclosed which industries are renting the most, but the numbers point to a market that's hungry for hands-on experience with humanoid robots.

A livestreamer's personal android

In Hangzhou, e-commerce livestreamer Ai Lin has taken a different approach. He rents out his own android for 3,000 yuan ($443) per day, mainly for exhibitions. That's slightly cheaper than SHAREBOT's standard rate, but it doesn't include a human operator — the android is his personal property, and he likely handles the logistics himself.

Ai Lin's side hustle shows how the rental market is evolving. Individuals who own humanoid robots can now monetize them, turning a flashy gadget into a revenue stream. It's a small but telling sign that the humanoid robot economy is moving beyond just corporate buyers.

Neither AGIBOT nor Ai Lin has commented on future plans. But with 5,500 orders already in the books, the rental model is clearly gaining traction. The next question is whether SHAREBOT can keep up with demand — and whether more robot owners will follow Ai Lin's lead.
