Google Flow Goes Global, Adds Gemini Omni and Music Tools

Google Flow is rolling out worldwide, the company confirmed, marking a major expansion for its creative platform. Alongside the global launch, Google introduced Gemini Omni as part of its AI-powered creative tools and added new music features to Flow's suite.

Global Reach

Flow, Google's cloud-based creative environment, was previously available in a limited number of markets. The expansion means creators in more countries can now access the platform's design, video, and audio tools. Google didn't specify exactly which new regions are included, but said the rollout covers additional territories across Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

Gemini Omni Integration

Gemini Omni is the latest addition to Google's AI lineup. It's now part of Flow's creative tools, giving users access to advanced generative AI for tasks like image editing, video production, and text-to-speech. The model is designed to work across different media types—text, image, and audio—within a single workflow. Google pitched it as a way to speed up repetitive tasks and let creators focus on the big picture.

New Music Features

Flow's creative tools also gained music-specific capabilities. Users can now generate original music tracks, apply AI-driven sound effects, and tweak audio parameters directly inside the platform. The features aim to simplify soundtrack creation for videos, podcasts, and other projects. Google didn't release a full list of available instruments or genres, but said the tools support a range of musical styles.

The music additions build on earlier audio features in Flow. Google has been pushing into creative AI for months, and the music tools are part of that push. The company is betting that integrating AI directly into creative platforms will attract both hobbyists and professionals.

Flow's global expansion comes as competitors like Adobe and Canva also add AI features to their software. Google's advantage may be the tight connection to its other services, though the company hasn't detailed any cross-platform hooks yet.

Google said the new music features are available now to all Flow users, and the global rollout is underway. The company has not announced pricing changes for the expanded version.
