ATOM, the native token of the Cosmos network, fell to $1.28 in recent trading, a level that has technical analysts watching closely. The Relative Strength Index (RSI) dropped to 21.82, deep in oversold territory, while the price is pinned against the lower Bollinger Band — a setup that often precedes a short-term bounce.

An RSI reading below 30 typically signals that an asset has been sold too aggressively and may be due for a reversal. At 21.82, ATOM is well into that zone. The lower Bollinger Band, a volatility-based support level, is also being tested. When price hugs or breaks below that band, traders often watch for a “squeeze” — a sharp move in either direction as volatility contracts and then expands.
In ATOM’s case, the squeeze is expected to push the token higher in the near term, with a target range of $1.31 to $1.33. That would represent a roughly 3% to 4.5% gain from the current $1.28 level.
