FalconX and Interstice have connected Canton to Ethereum, Solana, and Robinhood Chain through a non-custodial cross-chain swap engine. The integration, announced this week, gives institutional tokenized assets on Canton access to liquidity and trading activity across three major public blockchains.
What the link brings
The swap engine routes orders between Canton's institutional markets and the public chains without taking custody of assets. That means users keep control of their funds while tapping into deeper pools of liquidity on Ethereum, Solana, and Robinhood Chain. For a network built around tokenized real-world assets, that's a direct path to the trading depth that public blockchains already offer.
Canton has been positioning itself as a home for institutional-grade tokenized assets, but its own liquidity can be thin. By plugging into the largest public chains, the connection lets institutional traders move in and out of positions with less slippage and a wider set of counterparties. It's a practical step toward making tokenized assets actually tradeable at scale.
How the engine works
The non-custodial design is the key detail. Instead of sending tokens to a central wallet, the engine executes swaps across chains while keeping assets in users' own custody. Robinhood Chain's role
