The Judge Archive-Lab Limited (NZ) has kicked off an international technical initiative to create a permanent digital record for Yixing Zisha teapots, starting with Luo Xiaoping's 'Genesis No. 001' masterpiece. The project uses high-precision 100-Megapixel Hasselblad scanning to archive the teapot as a real-world asset (RWA), with a token framework called TDP handling identity and verification. The lab says the goal is to set a 500-year paradigm for preserving these ceramics on the blockchain.
The artist and the teapot
Luo Xiaoping is an elected individual member of the International Academy of Ceramics in Geneva. His sculptures are permanently housed at the White House and the Musée Ariana in Switzerland. The Genesis No. 001 piece is the first in a series that the lab aims to codify under its new archival protocol. The project is anchored by five institutional verifications, including The Clay Studio Collection, critiques from a 1999 Auckland exhibition, reviews in Ceramics Monthly, and historical archive references.
How the TDP token works
The TDP token is described as a non-fractional, non-custodial Utility Protocol Key. It's not a security or a profit-sharing vehicle. Instead, it's used for identity logging, cryptographic verification, and programmatic media display synchronization. The digital archival process does not represent equity ownership, revenue-sharing, debt obligation, investment profit pooling, or commercial voting rights. The asset owner is WING – The Judge Archive-Lab Limited, and Luo Xiaoping has endorsed the ownership and provenance.
Global media procurement open
The lab is now calling for bids from top-tier media outlets under framework code TDP. Bidders must meet specific technical parameters, including access to a 19MB lossless asset master from the Hasselblad scan. The press release was published on CryptoPotato last week, kicking off the outreach. It's a niche play, but the lab is betting that high-resolution on-chain provenance will matter for collectors and institutions looking to authenticate rare ceramics over the long term.
