Sentora Curates Morpho Lending Vault for Wellington-Backed Token

Sentora is curating a lending vault on Morpho that accepts mWIN, a token backed by an actively managed credit portfolio run by Wellington Management. Midas issued mWIN on Aug. 5. Wellington, a Boston asset manager, oversees more than $1.3 trillion as of December 2025.

What mWIN represents

The token is a claim on a credit portfolio that Wellington actively manages. By accepting mWIN as collateral, the vault lets borrowers use their stake in that portfolio to borrow other assets on Morpho, a decentralized lending protocol. The arrangement ties a traditional asset manager's credit book directly to a DeFi lending market.

Sentora's role in the vault

Sentora is curating the vault, meaning it sets the collateral rules and oversees how the vault operates. The vault itself runs on Morpho, which matches lenders and borrowers through smart contracts. Sentora's curation involves deciding which tokens qualify as collateral and how the vault's risk parameters are configured.

This is not the first time a tokenized credit product has been used in DeFi lending, but it's a rare case where a major traditional asset manager's portfolio sits behind a vault's collateral. Wellington's $1.3 trillion under management gives the token a substantial anchor, though the vault's specific terms haven't been disclosed.

What's known about mWIN

Midas issued mWIN on Aug. 5. The token's value is tied to the performance of the underlying credit portfolio managed by Wellington. For the vault, that means the collateral's worth depends on how well that portfolio performs. Borrowers who post mWIN are effectively borrowing against their holdings in that managed credit fund.

Sentora has not announced a launch date for the vault, nor have borrowing rates or loan-to-value ratios been made public. The vault's activation will depend on when Sentora finalizes those parameters. Until then, mWIN remains a token issued by Midas, and the vault sits in a pre-launch state.
