US spot Bitcoin ETFs pulled in $79.2 million on Thursday, extending a three-day streak that now totals about $368 million. The inflows come as Bitcoin attempts a price recovery after a rough patch earlier this month.
Three-day streak picks up
Thursday's haul was the second-biggest daily inflow this week, behind Wednesday's $143 million. The $368 million three-day total is the strongest such run since late June. It's a sharp turnaround from the first week of July, when flows were mostly flat or negative.
Bitcoin's recovery backdrop
Bitcoin has been trying to claw back ground after slipping below $60,000 earlier this month. The ETF inflows suggest some institutional buyers are betting the worst is over, at least for now. The price has ticked up a few percent over the past three days, though it's still well off its June highs.
The streak will be tested when markets open Monday. No major macro events are scheduled for early next week, so ETF flows could remain the main signal for near-term sentiment. For now, the numbers are pointing in one direction.
