Spindex, a data platform that tracks slot activity across crypto casinos, has recorded its 150 millionth gaming event. The company says it now ingests more than 2,000 data points per minute from over 700 slot titles, and it's positioning itself as the independent scorekeeper for an industry that has long operated without one.
Why the number matters
Independent data is rare in crypto gambling. Most platforms report their own numbers, and players have little way to verify them. Spindex pulls from Stake, Stake.us, Rainbet, Roobet, Gamdom, Shuffle, and Duelbits, and it runs dedicated data suites for the first four. That means the 150 million events aren't self-reported — they're measured by a third party.
What gets tracked
The Hot Slots rankings use actual tracked activity over rolling 7-day and 30-day windows to spot trending games. Each ranked title carries live stats: total tracked events, average and maximum hit multiplier, and win rate. Spindex also runs a live 'Big Wins' feed for outcomes with a 20x multiplier and $100 or higher, plus independent verification tools for cryptographic fairness.
Free tools and a 7,000-title library
Beyond the rankings, Spindex offers a free library of over 7,000 playable slot titles from studios like Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming, and NoLimit City. There are also free utilities — VIP-tier calculators, bonus estimators, and sports betting calculators. The idea is to give players the same kind of transparency they'd expect from a regulated market.
CEO Josh Newman said the platform was built because there wasn't an independent data layer for the industry. Spindex plans to expand data coverage and its tracked title library through 2026. The next milestone isn't announced, but with the current ingestion rate, 200 million events could come faster than the first 150 million.
