This event entrenches the multipolar world order, accelerating de-dollarization and sanctions evasion via cryptocurrencies, while diverting capital from risk assets like tech and crypto in the short term. However, Bitcoin's growing narrative as a neutral, censorship-resistant asset could attract long-term demand from Russian and other sanctioned entities.

In a macro environment already plagued by persistent inflation and hawkish central banks, this adds to the 'higher-for-longer' risk premium, discouraging capital inflows into speculative assets like crypto.
