Five days and counting
The Aug. 7 figure marked the fifth straight session of net inflows for U.S. spot bitcoin ETFs. The streak has now stretched across a full trading week, with every session in the period landing in positive territory.
BlackRock's IBIT out in front
BlackRock's IBIT captured $479 million in inflows, putting the fund well ahead of the rest of the bitcoin ETF pack. The $479 million is a hefty chunk of the sector's recent intake, underscoring the dominance of the largest fund.
Ether ETFs keep climbing
Spot ether ETFs pulled in $49.60 million on Aug. 7, a fourth consecutive day of gains. The ether funds have been the quieter story this week — smaller numbers than bitcoin, but a steady run of their own.
The four-day streak for ether ETFs comes as the funds continue to build out their trading history. The $49.60 million daily intake is a healthy clip for the ether lineup, which has seen smaller daily totals than the bitcoin funds.
Two streaks, one direction
Both categories are moving the same way. Bitcoin ETFs have five straight days of inflows; ether ETFs have four. The two streaks together point to sustained interest in digital-asset funds — not just a one-off bounce in a single product.
The next session, Aug. 8, will show whether either streak survives the week.
