Senate GOP Leader Files Cloture on Crypto Market Bill, Setting Up September Test

Senate Majority Leader John Thune filed cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R. 3633, the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, before the chamber left for summer recess. The move doesn't guarantee passage, but it pushes the legislation further along the Senate floor than it has ever been. Lawmakers return Sept. 14, and the vote will be a direct test of bipartisan support for a federal crypto market structure.

That's a compromise aimed at satisfying both sides.
