Psalion Launches $50M Venture Fund for Early-Stage Blockchain Startups

The $50 million pool is earmarked for pre-seed and seed-stage companies. Psalion says it's looking for teams that are building the plumbing of the next internet — not just another token project. The firm's investment thesis centers on four verticals: blockchain infrastructure, trade finance, real-world assets (RWA), and stablecoins. Each of those areas, the firm argues, is where traditional finance and decentralized tech can actually meet.

This isn't Psalion's first rodeo. The firm has raised two earlier venture vehicles, though it hasn't disclosed their sizes. What is clear: the new $50 million fund is its biggest bet yet. The jump in size suggests growing conviction — and possibly growing LP interest — in the early-stage crypto venture space, especially in Asia.

Target sectors

Blockchain infrastructure is a crowded field, but Psalion is betting that the real action is in trade finance and RWAs — areas where blockchain can solve actual paperwork and settlement problems. Stablecoins, too, are a focus, a sign that the firm sees regulatory clarity around digital dollars as a tailwind. The fund's mandate is explicitly about bridging Web2 and Web3, meaning it's not chasing pure crypto-native plays but rather projects that connect existing business workflows to blockchain rails.
