Binance will pause TRX deposits and withdrawals on the Tron network for about an hour on Aug 13 to carry out wallet maintenance. Trading of tokens on Tron won't be affected during the window, and the exchange says deposits and withdrawals will reopen once the network is stable, with no further announcement. It's the second such halt in less than a month.

Tron maintenance window

The maintenance is scheduled for Aug 13 and is expected to last roughly an hour. Binance regularly performs similar upkeep on other networks, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Cardano, so the move itself isn't unusual. But the timing stands out: the exchange already suspended TRX transfers for wallet maintenance less than a month ago. Users who need to move TRX around that window should plan accordingly.

Seven spot pairs to go

On Aug 14, Binance will delist seven spot trading pairs: APT/BTC, AR/BTC, A/USDC, BTTC/TRY, CYBER/USDC, LPT/BTC, and WAL/FDUSD. The exchange said the pairs don't meet its criteria for adequate liquidity and trading volume. The affected tokens didn't see major volatility after the delisting news, which suggests the market had already priced in the move.

Margin pairs for BTT and POWR

Separately, Binance will also delist and cease trading on all margin trading pairs for BitTorrent (BTT) and Poweledger (POWR) on Aug 14. That's a broader cut for those two tokens, hitting both spot and margin markets. The exchange hasn't said whether the margin delistings are tied to the same liquidity standards.

A pattern of delistings

This isn't an isolated event. Earlier in August, Binance completely withdrew support for ACX, HFT, PIVX, PYR, VANRY, and VIC, and those tokens saw double-digit price collapses. At the end of June, the exchange delisted ALCX, ARDR, NFP, and POND, which also triggered price drops. Binance regularly prunes pairs that fail to meet its standards, and the latest round fits that pattern.

The delistings take effect Aug 14. Anyone with open orders on the affected pairs should close them before then. The Tron maintenance is expected to be brief, but the exchange hasn't given a specific start time.
